Just ask any Atlantan: Coca-Cola is bigger than life! It's always been the company that has been viewed as the king of worldwide marketing. Looks like Coca-Cola and other companies like it are not as popular in New York City.

This economy has hurt so many Americans and it does not discriminate against any one particular field. Educators, attorneys, business people, investment specialists, government relations professionals, pharmaceutical workers, etc, have all been affected; as I have at least one friend in those fields who have been out of work for a time period.

When I started "The 'Right' Solutions, I spoke about how to combat the pesonal attack and win. In the past couple of weeks, Obama and his minions have attempted to drag Mitt Romney through the mud on Bain, and to quote Charlie Sheen, Romney is "winning"!

Memorial Day may be the unofficial arrival of summer, but this day means so much more to many. It is a day where we honor those who have fallen in the cause for freedom. These men and women who wore the uniform, and died wearing it, deserve every honor and remembrance under the sun. We should take a moment out of our day to remember them; be it in our thoughts or at a Memorial Day ceremony in our community. Never forget that as we enjoy our cookouts, time at the beach and moments spent with friends and family, it's BECAUSE of these brave men and women that we have the freedom to celebrate the fun part of this day. May God Bless those brave souls lost in the fight for freedom and look down upon their families who have to live every day on earth, without their loved ones who selflessly gave their lives for freedom.

This apparently isn't a new happening, but President Obama will be taking the day off on Memorial Day and won't be laying a wreath or delivering an address at the Tomb of the Unknowns, as has been the custom of past presidents.

The picture above is of me with S.E. Cupp, who I had the pleasure of seeing in Puerto Rico last year at the Young Republican National Convention. Having previously met S.E. Cupp, as well as following her career and reading her books, I have gained a great respect for her as a successful Gen-X Conservative and was absolutely sickened by what I saw this week, as the left continues to fight a war on Conservative women.

Obama really wants to win in November and he's looking for anything to help. Chatter among Washington is that the savior is Hillary Clinton; dumping Biden and putting her on the presidential ticket.
Despite the fact that the general election candidates are known, the primaries continue on. As President Obama is running unopposed, you'd think that would be smooth sailing for him. Think again, political observers.

In the years both have been in power, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Newark Mayor Cory Booker have been fostering a positive working relationship, which has even been spoofed. Last weekend, Booker made an appearance on Meet the Press and made comments that raised the eyebrows of many in both parties.
Many in New Jersey and in the country have been following the criminal proceedings against Dharun Ravi, the former Rutgers student who was convicted for spying on/broadcasting a romantic encounter of his roommate, Tyler Clementi, with another man. Clementi committed suicide, jumping off the George Washington Bridge, after it became known the encounter was made public. The sentence came down today: 30 days in a county prison, a fine and probation.

With Newark Mayor Cory Booker in the news lately and his popularity rising among Democrats, Governor Chris Christie, who actually has a pretty good relationship with the Newark Mayor, made the following video, spoofing his recent heroics and speculation about Christie:

With the release and information in Edward Klein's book, the new Wright tapes that have been released, the "born in Kenya bio" and the testing of the waters by a GOP SuperPAC, questions of Barack Obama's past are coming up and whether they are fair game in 2012.

Nebraska had a primary yesterday and it didn't just encompass the presidential vote. In 2012, the state of Nebraska will elect a new Senator with the retirement of Ben Nelson. It is now determined that Democrat and former Governor/Senator Bob Kerrey will face Nebraska State Senator Deb Fischer. The primary race on the Republican side was seen as an upset to many, but her win can be summed up in two words: Sarah Palin.
The picture above (taken at Chris Christie's 2009 Victory Party) is one every Republican is loves seeing and will hope to see on November 6, 2012. Things are looking good, but I must say, not so fast, and tell my Republican friends to not count your chickens before they hatch!

Last week, as was well publicized, President Obama made the political decision to personally endorse gay marriage, re-taking his first position, yet still believing marriage is a “state’s rights issue.” We’re starting to get dizzy following his flip-flops because he changed his position again.

At the beginning of this campaign season, Obama and the Democrats set out to raise one billion dollars in campaign cash. Five months into 2012, that goal is likely to not be met, the president is speaking to half-empty basketball arenas and it seems that the pizazz and lore of 2008 is not there. What is a president to do?!?

Considering the candidates in November are fait accompli, many in the US do not know there were significant primaries in some very important states yesterday.

Watching what is happening in France, the punchline of that title follows in this fashion: "the Dutch are the only people who haven't accomplished that feat."
I may be a little late in writing about this, and no, my fellow readers, it's not sour grapes as to why. What had become inevitable to all Newt supporters, including myself, is that his campaign was coming to an end, and that was made official last week, as he suspended his campaign.

The men and women who choose to fight for the United States of America are heroes; each and every one of them. They should be honored and revered in every way possible in our society. Whether a "Thank you for your service to our country," (and this was done well over 30 times in my visit to the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery last week) or a donation to a military organization, every little bit helps.

It has been one year since the capture and killing of Usama Bin Laden and in this election year, we are seeing Obama re-live the great feat of SEAL Team Six, while rewriting history.
