Hurricane Sandy: A Documentary

Nearly one month after Hurricane Sandy hit the Jersey Shore and the Northeast, I discovered the following documentary that was compiled by Charlotte Nagy, a 16 year old Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School student, who is a Rumson resident and has, her whole life, spent summers at Sea Bright.

Mohammed Morsi: The New Pharaoh?

If I remember correctly, I reminded you all to watch out for the 3rd Government in the Egyptian revolution, as it seems my prediction is coming true. With new Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi firmly in power, after his election, he granted himself additional powers, causing many, especially in the judiciary, to criticize this grab and incite the strongest opposition since the Muslim Brotherhood supported party took power.

His personal politics aside, I was very disappointed with the product Steven Speilberg has been putting out there after the 4th Indiana Jones movie and was wondering if he lost his creative edge. Well, after seeing Lincoln over the weekend, I'm glad to see he has it back!

Whether you watched the Macy's Parade (pictured above, the Macy's Holiday Parade at Universal which uses balloons featured in the New York City parade), ate a lot of turkey, spent time with family or watched football, "The 'Right' Solutions" hopes it was a Happy Thanksgiving.

Luke Russert: His Father's Son

Luke Russert asked Nancy Pelosi a question today that most in the lapdog media would not ask a Democrat:

December to be an Exciting Disney Month!

OK, it's been two tough weeks up here in the Northeast...first Sandy and its aftermath, then Obama winning re-election. As a result, I'm quite drained and ready for an escape, and my readers know that a visit to the land of Mickey Mouse may soon be in the cards.

The David Petraeus Resignation: A Theory

Big news out of Washington DC today - retired General David Petraeus, Director of the CIA since April 2011, has resigned his post, citing an extra-marital affair. Considering the track record and behavior of past politicians in Washington and the ability to stay in their jobs, this whole thing seems rather fishy to me.

Paul Ryan for Speaker of the House

Republicans did not have a winning effort this year, but they did hold Congress, and since the election, especially after seeing the current Speaker of the House make some questionable comments, it's time for a new Speaker of the House, and "The 'Right' Solutions" endorses Paul Ryan to hold this position and challenge John Boehner!

Chris Christie, The Election and New Jersey

As Barack Obama won nationally last night, New Jerseyans knew how things were going to go. Except for incumbent Republicans in the House of Representatives winning re-election, it was a whole lot of ugly for the Garden State. Some can trace the cause of this right to good old New Jersey.

Barack Obama Wins Re-Election

I honestly never thought I'd be writing this particular blog, but here it goes: Barack Obama defeated Mitt Romney last night and wins re-election.

302-236: Mitt Romney Will Be the 45th President

You've heard it in the title, there's my prediction, there's my electoral college map.

Mitt Romney Comes to Pennsylvania

One of the most troubling parts of being off the grid this long is not being able to provide you with consistent analysis of the election, which just so happens to be tomorrow. As zero hour approaches, both candidates are traveling across the country and my candidate, Mitt Romney, was local, as the Keystone State is in play, so that meant I was going to be there too. Off to Bucks County, Pennsylvania I went.

Hurricane Katrina Sandy Strikes the Northeast

This is the first time I have been able to get online for a significant amount of time since Hurricane Katrina Sandy struck the northeast last Monday, and I would like to thank my readers for sticking by me and following along on Twitter in my blogging absence.
