Giants fans should be very happy about this one! Head Coach Tom Coughlin, after finishing the season, under intense pressure, with his second Super Bowl Championship with the Giants received a contract extension that will retain him through the 2014 season.
I have always been a fan of Tom Coughlin, as he is a strong leader, carries himself with a high level of class and represents this organization well. It is heartening to see the front office, as well as the fans and the media, realize this. At 65 years of age, Tom Coughlin is still going strong and I look forward to seeing him along the sidelines the next three seasons, and hopefully longer!
