Democrats Threatened by a GOP Rising Star
While everyone was focused on the addresses given by Ann Romney and Chris Christie, there were some really good speakers in earlier slots yesterday at the Republican National Convention. One of those that come to mind was the speech by Mayor Mia Love, of Utah, who is running as the Republican in Utah's 6th Congressional District.
Chris Christie and New Jersey Attitude
After Ann Romney's quiet strength, we move to the in your face assertiveness of Chris Christie who gave the Keynote Address at the Republican National Convention.
Ann Romney: Quiet Strength and True Compassion.
In one of the most anticipated addresses at the Republican National Convention, Ann Romney, the wife of Mitt Romney, took the stage at the Tampa Bay Times Forum and blew the crowd away!

Great RNC Moments: Zell Miller
This afternoon, I happened to be channel surfing and as I was going past MSNBC, I noticed Newt Gingrich was on with Chris Matthews, who was broadcasting live from Channelside Bay Plaza in Downtown Tampa. Matthews badgering of Newt and Newt's ability to figuratively slap the big mouth back, reminded me of a great moment in the history of Republican National Conventions: the 2004 Keynote Address of Democrat Senator Zell Miller of Georgia.
