Capitol Hill Visit

As a part of the Young Republican Leadership Conference, which brought me down to Washington DC for the past five days, the delegation spent a morning on Capitol Hill, meeting with various Congressmen and women, as well as RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.

The basic theme of each speaker was that the ideals of Conservatism must be embraced and we, as young Americans, must take a role in articulating them so that more Americans learn that Conservatism wins. Each person spoke of this broken administration and the imperative need to elect a Republican in November, while bringing in their personal connection to the fight.

The above photo is of me with Congressman Tim Scott (R-SC). I also had the pleasure of meeting Congresswoman Renee Ellmers (R-NC), Congressman Sean Duffy (R-WI), Congressman Aaron Schock (R-IL). Additionally, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH), Congressman Jim Renacci (R-OH), Congressman Steve LaTourette (R-OH) and RNC Chair Reince Priebus. Below are video excerpts of the speeches by Sean Duffy, Tim Scott and Reince Priebus.
