Priorities?!?

A few years back, Colombia wasn't a safe place. After hearing the awesome time one of my friends had in her travel there last year (I used the above pic she took for this entry) and the improved level of security, combined with the newfound stability of their government, things have definitely turned around. Those in the American government definitely took advantage of the improved atmosphere of Colombia last weekend, whether it was Hillary letting loose or the Secret Service agents...well, you know.


Apparently, the President even went so far as to say this:



Now it may be an attempt at humor and I'm all for humor, but considering the Obamas like to play their "let 'em eat cake/Do as I say, Not as I do" routine, especially on the taxpayers dime, and have been recently called out for it, that clearly wasn't the smartest thing to say. There was definitely a collective eyeroll in America with that statement.

My solution would be that he and Michelle can travel all they want, after January 20, 2013, when he'll have more time on his hands to play golf and go on vacations...oh wait. If they follow this plan, at least they won't be able to bleed the taxpayers anymore.
