Because this president must continue to run from his record, he continues to attempt to divert the American voter. Today's diversion was that he's a dog lover and Mitt Romney isn't.
What Obama wasn't expecting was Mitt Romney's response: you ate Fido and you said it yourself! Mitt Romney was right to go on the offensive and call this president out because Obama decided to open up this forum. The fact that the media is even talking about this and trying to gin up Romney's animal rights creds, or alleged lack thereof, is another example of this Administration and President diverting from the issues and trainwreck decisions this president has made; attempting to repeat the same strategy he has done in 'Wagging the Dog' with women, Hispanics and African-Americans.
