Capitol Hill Visit
As a part of the Young Republican Leadership Conference, which brought me down to Washington DC for the past five days, the delegation spent a morning on Capitol Hill, meeting with various Congressmen and women, as well as RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.

"The 'Right' Solutions" is back from hiatus, and I'm going to start with a brush with fame that I had in Washington: RedEye's Greg Gutfeld.

Hiatus Heads Up
Just wanted to give you, my readers, an alert that I will be on hiatus from blogging a few days, as a result of my upcoming trip to Washington. But have no fear my friends, I will be back on Sunday to continue to provide you, the reader, with expert analysis of the current issues affecting our lives daily, here at "The 'Right' Solutions."
SCOTUS to Review the Arizona Law
As per Article III of the Constitution, the Supreme Court plays a key role in determining the Constitutionality of laws brought before it. Regarding ObamaCare and Citizens United, the Supreme Court has been the focus of news stories and analysis on both sides of the issue. Well, now that they have agreed to review the Arizona Immigration Law, that focus will become even more so.

Obama: Damn this Constitution, It's MY Government
Last night while I was watching Celebrity Apprentice, I found myself cringing at Aubrey O'Day's rhetoric which she used to prop herself up. The constant self-pats, the overuse of I, me, my, etc; absolutely nauseating. And as I was watching, I remembered where I heard this before-that's right: Barack Obama!

Sarah Palin and the Secret Service
As the Colombia Secret Service Scandal has gone public and Secret Service Agents have been fired, more news has come out about their background, including one who was assigned to protect Sarah Palin in 2008.

Dick Clark: 1929-2012
America lost a titan in the entertainment industry today, as "America's Oldest Teenager," Dick Clark, passed away at 82 years of age.
Dogs to Divert from the Real Issues
Because this president must continue to run from his record, he continues to attempt to divert the American voter. Today's diversion was that he's a dog lover and Mitt Romney isn't.

Discovery's Final Flight
With the retirement of the Space Shuttle fleet, the crafts are now being turned over to the museums to which they were assigned. Today was Discovery's turn, which is going to end up at the Udvar-Hazy Center (this museum is a highly recommended visit when in the DC Metro Area) As it made its last flight atop a modified 747, it lapped the National Mall three times at a low altitude. Many gathered to view this amazing craft and it was quite the bittersweet moment. Below is the video of its final flight over The Mall.
The Beckel Incident
Last night, as I was watching Hannity, we all got quite a surprise, as seen in the clip below. (Explicit language...don't say I didn't warn you)

Priorities?!?
A few years back, Colombia wasn't a safe place. After hearing the awesome time one of my friends had in her travel there last year (I used the above pic she took for this entry) and the improved level of security, combined with the newfound stability of their government, things have definitely turned around. Those in the American government definitely took advantage of the improved atmosphere of Colombia last weekend, whether it was Hillary letting loose or the Secret Service agents...well, you know.

About three weeks ago, Dick Cheney received a new heart, after years of heart problems and being on the transplant list. It seems he's back to himself again!

Seeing a Little Bit of Mike Wallace in Larry Conners
Earlier this week, veteran reporter and 60 Minutes Correspondent, Mike Wallace, passed away at the age of 93. Wallace's tough questioning style has definitely set the standard in many journalists/analysts from his son Chris, to Bill O'Reilly. Yesterday, we saw a little bit of Mike Wallace in a local St. Louis reporter, Larry Conners.

Who is Really at War with Women?
Last night, Hilary Rosen, a Democrat hack operative, decided to attack Anne Romney, and thinking in her "Beltway Mentality," she attacked women across the United States. Below are her comments.

The Santorum Campaign Comes to an End
The long winding road has come to an end. Rick Santorum has decided to suspend his campaign, basically ending his run for the presidency. Campaign insiders have given me various reasons for pulling out and I believe it was a combination of pressure from the establishment, bad internal numbers in Pennsylvania and lack of funds.

Hillary Bailing on the DNC and Obama?
News broke today that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will not be attending the 2012 Democrat National Convention in Charlotte.

Happy Easter
When we think of Easter we think of spring, rebirth, renewal, chocolate candies, the Easter Bunny and getting together with family, but this holiday is one of Christianity's most solemn; the day that Jesus rose from the dead.

Save the Sphere
When the World Trade Center opened in 1971, Fritz Koenig's The Sphere, commissioned in 1966, was the centerpiece of the Austin J. Tobin Plaza, located between the Twin Towers. This large sculpture was a symbol of world peace through trade. For 30 years, the 25 foot sculpture stood in the middle of a series of fountains and was quite a beautiful public space enjoyed by office workers, tourist and Lower Manhattan residents alike.

LIES
Let's be honest, I hate calling the President of the United States a liar, as I have respect for the office, but with this clip you will see, I can't help giving my readers a little honest analysis.

Some Relevant and Intereresting Films Soon to be Released
Lately, I have not been impressed with the product that Hollywood is putting out. Even though the industry has been out of touch in recent years, there are a few good relevant ones that come out. And it just so happens these relevant films have a politically right tilt. Let me preview two of them.
