Incredible Close to a Successful Convention
The final night of the 2012 Republican National Convention ended with a bang! There were three very big speeches tonight of which I want to quickly comment and analyze.

Democrats Threatened by a GOP Rising Star
While everyone was focused on the addresses given by Ann Romney and Chris Christie, there were some really good speakers in earlier slots yesterday at the Republican National Convention. One of those that come to mind was the speech by Mayor Mia Love, of Utah, who is running as the Republican in Utah's 6th Congressional District.
Chris Christie and New Jersey Attitude
After Ann Romney's quiet strength, we move to the in your face assertiveness of Chris Christie who gave the Keynote Address at the Republican National Convention.
Ann Romney: Quiet Strength and True Compassion.
In one of the most anticipated addresses at the Republican National Convention, Ann Romney, the wife of Mitt Romney, took the stage at the Tampa Bay Times Forum and blew the crowd away!

Great RNC Moments: Zell Miller
This afternoon, I happened to be channel surfing and as I was going past MSNBC, I noticed Newt Gingrich was on with Chris Matthews, who was broadcasting live from Channelside Bay Plaza in Downtown Tampa. Matthews badgering of Newt and Newt's ability to figuratively slap the big mouth back, reminded me of a great moment in the history of Republican National Conventions: the 2004 Keynote Address of Democrat Senator Zell Miller of Georgia.

RNC Kicks Off in Tampa
Well, the RNC did not listen to me, as they cancelled today's convention kickoff because they were deeply worried about the potential of flooding in St. Petersburg and Clearwater, areas outside of Downtown Tampa where many delegates are staying. If those areas flood, buses cannot get the delegates Downtown to the Tampa Bay Times Forum. It looks like Tampa missed the direct hit from Hurricane Isaac, and as of Tuesday, the show will go on!

The Show Must Go On
Earlier this week, the media had quite the flipout (I can think of another word beginning with o, but this is a family blog) and with the possibility of Hurricane Issac affecting the Republican National Convention in Tampa, they had another, but it has been determined the show will go on!

Prediction: Joe Biden is Not Going ANYWHERE, No Hillary in 2012
I've said this before on many occassions and I'll say it again, the Democrat fantasy will not happen, Joseph Robinette Biden is on the Democrat ticket this year and will be there until November.

This is What Conservatism Sounds Like
Back in June, Wisconsin taught us what Democracy looks like, and another one of Wisconsin's sons taught us what Conservatism sounds like!

Florida is still red, sorry Dems
With Mitt Romney's selection of Paul Ryan as his running mate, the Dems are foaming at the mouth, ready to play Medi-scare and are boasting that Florida's 29 Electoral votes will be Obama's.

Big news has been announced about one hour ago: Mitt Romney will announce his choice for running mate, the person who will be his Vice President if he wins, on Saturday morning.

The Obama Transcripts
With yesterday's article by Wayne Allyn Root, he has successfully brought back a pressing question to the political fray: the content of the Obama college and law school transcripts.
Petraeus?
News was breaking all over the Drudge Report today about the possibility of Retired General and current CIA Director, David Petraeus, being considered as Mitt Romney's running mate.

Up to 8.3%, 15% More Accurate
As they do every first Friday of the month, the labor statistics were released. And today, we received some more bad news: U-3 is up to 8.3%, U-6 is up to 15%, more dropped out of the labor force.

Eat Mor Chikin
A popular pattern of the left is that if a person or business doesn't believe in something they do, that non-believer must be embarrassed, harassed and figuratively strangled. This is what they tried to do to Chick-Fil-A because of their CEO's belief that marriage is between a man and a woman; the position of President Obama prior to May of 2012.
