Big Bird Will Get Bailed Out
In the debate on Wednesday, Mitt Romney said the following about the funding of the Public Broadcasting System.
From dyed in the wool leftists, I saw them light up about the horrible possibility of Sesame Street being cancelled and how this would harm childhood intellectual development. (They conveniently forgot about the role of parents in childhood intellectual development - likely so they may advance their argument...for another day, I guess). Well, have no fear, left-leaners. It turns out that talk radio host and founder of the Landmark Legal Foundation, Mark Levin, will gather a group of investors to buy the rights to Sesame Street and Sesame Workshop, therefore, Sesame Street will not only be safe for years to come, but its quality will improve and it will be profitable; something PBS is not, which is why Mitt Romney will rightly put it on the Federal funding chopping block.
