Sorry, Mr. President, but this is the height of conceit! You may be the "Commander in Chief," but, as per the Constitution, you are in this position temporarily, so to take ownership of the American soldier is flat out wrong. They are not fighting for you, but instead, serving their country, protecting its citizens and giving themselves to the cause of freedom! And since active members of the military cannot speak up about these reprehensible comments, I will!
May God Bless the men and women who give of themselves to others to wear the uniform and fight on behalf of the American people and American ideals!
