The Gov and the Mayor: A Rather Humorous Web Video

With Newark Mayor Cory Booker in the news lately and his popularity rising among Democrats, Governor Chris Christie, who actually has a pretty good relationship with the Newark Mayor, made the following video, spoofing his recent heroics and speculation about Christie:




A couple of notes regarding this web video:

• Cory Booker is NOT running for Governor in 2013. Christie has been politically shrewd to take him out of the game by working with him on issues regarding Newark, especially the Mark Zuckerberg-Oprah grant.
• The Seinfeld references were very much appreciated
• Each politician was allowed to take advantage of and showcase their positives
• Although a bad idea for Mitt (Two Northeast Governors on a presidential ticket who may not be perceived as Consistent Conservatives by the base), Christie also uses this video to keep his name in the game.

Major props to Governor Christie for always making attempts to make his job look interesting and himself likable.
