Bill Maher Trashes the South

Bill Maher has been in the news a lot lately, with a refocus on his misogynistic trashing of Sarah Palin, his $1 million donation to the Obama SuperPAC and their acceptance of it, in spite of his behavior.

While watching the news analysis programs this evening, it looks as if Bill Maher still hasn't found the bottom of the barrel. On his HBO show, he sent his filmographer, Alexandra Pelosi, daughter of the former left wing Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, to Mississippi for a Man on the Street segment. While Maher claims Pelosi "just got off the plane and did not seek out (stereotypical caricatures)," it looks as if she missed more affluent towns such as Madison, Brandon, Olive Branch and Ridgeland.

This is a shameful and disgusting depiction of the South to advance a political agenda, while giving a false characteristic to Americans who may never leave the more populated cities of the northeast and west coast. Having been all over the South, I can tell my readers that these are some of the nicest people you will ever encounter and some of the most beautiful areas of the United States! What you see pictured above is a more fair and true image.

Bill Maher and Alexandra Pelosi have clearly cherry picked areas of the South, just so they embarrass Republicans, the Southern United States and advance their agenda. If I wanted to produce a video to embarrass Democrats, I could easily do the same and cherry pick neighborhoods in New York City, Washington DC, and even Montclair, to advance the Republican agenda and make Americans across the United States roll their eyes with disdain and disgust.

I am sickened by this elitist attitude, hope that most Americans agree with me and also hope that the South stands up en masse at the ballot box this November, speaking in a united voice against the Democrat/Media mocking!
