Impeach Elena Kagan
For months, there have been calls for Elena Kagan, former Obama Solicitor General, to ethically recuse herself because of her role in crafting the defense of ObamaCare. To this day, questions still remain about that role.
The oral arguments have come and gone, and in them, Kagan did not recuse herself, instead, rallying to the defense of ObamaCare, as well as showing her political position that gets in the way of the law and the Constitution.
It is abundantly clear how Kagan will vote on ObamaCare and with that, combined with the questions surrounding the testimony she provided at her Confirmation hearing and the paperwork she filled out prior to that hearing vs. documentation acquired Freedom of Information requests, there are conflicts and statements made under oath which divert from fact. Therefore, due to two possible acts of perjury and a violation of Federal Law 28 U.S.C. 455, she is not, according to Article III, Section 1 of the Constitution "(holding her Office) during good behavior." As a result, she needs to be impeached to protect the sanctity of the judicial process.
To this day, I believe her Confirmation hearing overlooked too much of her background, the statements she made, as well as the conflicting information given. It is my hope that a future Congress addresses Elena Kagan's conduct as a Supreme Court Justice and moves accordingly.
