Chalk this one up to "other items." Let's take a walk down memory lane with the movie clip below.
Dog lovers may cringe when Baxter gets punted off the San Diego-Coronado Bridge, but that scene, along with the whole movie, was funny! Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy left us rolling in the aisles in 2004, with its 1970s take on the local San Diego news, and many believe it was one of Will Ferrell's best movies, if not his best. Last night on Conan, Ron Burgundy, (Will Ferrell in character) jazz flute and all, announced the Anchorman sequel has been green-lighted!
Considering Will Ferrell's fanbase and those who thoroughly enjoyed the first film will guarantee the "return to San Diyago" will be a moneymaker. The film could go in many directions, but I hope that most of all, it will be funny. Look for the new Anchorman to hit theaters in a year or two from now.
