Test Track "Plussing" to Take Place
It's the weekend, and with summer temperatures, the gut punch this country had during the week and the new reality future Republican presidents must stomach, I'm taking a bit of a break from politics and what else am I going to talk about, but Disney.
Just wanted to take a moment to feature my favorite Walt Disney World attraction, which is Test Track, at Epcot. In the late 1990s, the original 1982 attraction in the GM-sponsored pavilion, World of Motion, was replaced with this tecnological marvel. It may have taken a while to get the bugs out, but it is a classic one. Guests simulate the experience of an auto proving grounds, going through automobile tests such as hill climbs, break tests, handling tests, temperature tests and culminating in a speed test around a track outside of the building. Below is a Point of View of this wonderful attraction.
Beginning in May, Test Track was closed and is being refurbished, or as Walt Disney once said, a "plussing the attraction." The Disney website describes the changes here. With the advancements in this ride technology seen at Disney California Adventure in Radiator Springs Racers, I believe the new Test Track will surpass the original, and soon become the premier attraction at not only Epcot, but in Walt Disney World!
